WARNING - Mandatory Safety Standard Zip
VIEW PDF DIAGRAMS HERE (200kb)
The mandatory Australian safety standard ensures that bean bags meet safety and labelling requirements.
The standard protects children from breathing in or swallowing and absorbing pellets, small particles of polystyrene or other synthetic materials in bean bags.
Every opening in a bean bag and bean bag cover, through which filling can be inserted or removed, must be fitted with a child-resistant slide fastener.
This is usually a zip with its tag removed, and a locking mechanism to prevent a child easily opening it.
For your convenience we have provided a removable paperclip for filling - it should be removed once the bean bag is full
